Folder Overview
In Teachme Biz, folders are used to organize and categorize manuals within a group.
By adding users to folders, you can grant them permission to view and edit manuals within those folders.
Types of Folders
There are two types: Internal Folders and External Folders.

Folder Hierarchy
You can create subfolders. The hierarchy can go up to 5 levels of "parent folder-child folder."
Various permissions can be set at the parent folder level.

Folder Settings and Management
Creating a Folder
When creating a new folder, you need to select whether it will be internal or external.
The folder type cannot be changed after creation.

User Permission Settings
Folder Administrator/Sub-administrator
These roles have folder management permissions and can change various settings.

Any user who has an email address registered in their user information can become a folder administrator (or sub-administrator).
There is no limit to the number of users who can be set as folder sub-administrators.

General Users
General users can be granted either editor or viewer permissions for each folder.
- Editor: Can view manuals in the folder, edit all manuals, and create new manuals in the folder
- Viewer: Can view manuals in the folder

If a user has different permissions granted by different methods of folder participation, the stronger permission will be applied.

Deleting Folders
When you delete a folder, the manuals within it are not deleted.
You can move the manuals to another specified folder during the deletion process.

Frequently Asked Questions
I logged into Teachme Biz but no manuals are displayed
- You might not have been added to any folder as a viewer or editor. Please check with your administrator.
- Folders might be hidden due to the Folder IP Restriction feature.
- If Folder IP Restrictions are in use, folders will only be visible when accessed from approved IP addresses. Please check your network.
- Please check with your administrator about the status of Folder IP Restrictions and the approved IP addresses.
I can view manuals, but the manual edit button is not displayed
- You might not be participating in any folder as an editor. Please consult with your administrator about changing your permissions (from viewer to editor) in the folders you participate in.
- If the manual edit button is only not displayed in the mobile app, the latest permission settings might not have been reflected in the app. Please try logging out and logging back in.
