Overview of Folders
In Teachme Biz, folders are used to organize and categorize manuals within a group.
By adding users to folders, you can grant them permission to view and edit manuals within those folders.
Types of Folders
There are two types: Group-shared folders and Public-shared folders.

Folder Hierarchy
You can create subfolders. The hierarchy can go up to 5 levels including "parent folder and child folder".
Various permissions can be set on a parent folder basis.

Folder Settings and Management
Creating Folders
When creating a new folder, you can choose whether it's for group sharing or public release.
The folder type cannot be changed after creation.

User Permission Settings
Folder Administrator and Sub-Administrator
They have folder management rights and can change various settings.

Any user with a registered email address can become a folder administrator (or sub-administrator).
There is no limit to the number of users who can be set as folder sub-administrators.

General Users
Either editor or viewer permissions are granted on a folder-by-folder basis.
- Editor: Can view manuals in the folder, edit all manuals in the folder, and create new manuals
- Viewer: Can view manuals in the folder

If different permissions are granted depending on how the user joins the folder, the stronger permission is applied.

Deleting Folders
When you delete a folder, the manuals within it are not deleted.
You can move the manuals to a specified folder when performing the deletion.

Frequently Asked Questions
I logged into Teachme Biz but cannot see any manuals
- You may not have been added to any folders as a viewer or editor. Please check with your administrator.
- Folders may be hidden due to the Folder IP Restriction function.
- If Folder IP Restrictions are being used, folders will not be displayed unless accessed from an allowed IP address. Please check the network you're using.
- Please check with your administrator regarding the usage status of Folder IP Restrictions and the allowed IP addresses.
I can view manuals, but the manual edit button is not displayed
- You may not be participating in any folders as an editor. Please consult with your administrator about changing your permissions in your folders (from viewer to editor).
- If the manual edit button is not displayed only in the mobile app, the latest permission settings may not have been reflected in the mobile app. Please try logging out and then logging in again.
