Please note that groups with LGWAN (Local Government Wide Area Network) plans used in Japan cannot be configured as either sharing or recipient groups, so they cannot use this feature.
Terminology and Specifications
Folder Sharing Group
- A group that can share manuals with other groups on a folder basis
- Can create cross-group sharing sets
- Can invite recipient groups to join the cross-group sharing sets to share folders
Folder Recipient Group
- A group that can view manuals in the folders of the sharing group through receiving shared content
- Can join cross-group sharing sets by accepting invitations from sharing groups
Cross-group Sharing Set
- A collection of one sharing group and one or more recipient groups
- Folder sharing by the sharing group becomes possible only after creating a cross-group sharing set
- After joining one cross-group sharing set, you cannot join a different cross-group sharing set
Folder Administrator in Recipient Groups
- The folder administrator from the sharing group is automatically assigned. This cannot be changed to another user
- Although this permission exists in the recipient group, it cannot interfere with the recipient group due to the following specifications:
- Cannot log in to the recipient group
- Cannot change folder settings in the recipient group (such as adding viewers or changing folder sub-administrators)
Folder Sub-administrator in Recipient Groups
- Permission to add viewers to shared folders and add, change, or delete folder sub-administrators
- The group administrator of the recipient group is initially designated after accepting an invitation

Sharing becomes possible when the sharing group creates a cross-group sharing set and invites recipient groups.
