Recommended Use Cases

The AI Editing Assistant (hereinafter referred to as the Editing Assistant) is particularly useful when completing draft manuals or improving existing manuals.

For Example

  1. Finishing incomplete drafts
  2. Improving existing manuals
  3. Creating variations of existing manuals
  4. Creating manuals easily from images or notes

These are explained in detail in "Use Cases by Scenario."

Use Cases by Scenario

1. Completing an Unfinished Manual

Refining a draft generated by Teachme AI into a more targeted manual

Teachme AI's manual creation support features (*) are extremely useful for converting recorded work videos or PDFs into manual format, but post-generation editing may be necessary to achieve the intended expression.

With the Editing Assistant, you can efficiently refine a generated draft by giving instructions like "The key point of this task is..." or "Please standardize the expression of XX to YY." This helps you create high-quality manuals that capture the essential points you want to convey.

* Such as semi-automatic generation from video, manual draft generation from PDF, etc.

2. Improving an Existing Manual

Transforming a detailed manual into a simpler format where steps can be understood just by reading titles

Even well-explained, easy-to-understand manuals can sometimes take too long to read or may be skipped over.
In such cases, the following instruction is recommended:

Rewrite so that the content can be understood just by reading the titles, and remove the descriptions

This helps condense the content of each step's title and description.
This is also effective when creating manuals for text-to-speech functions or for viewing with Teachme Player.

3. Creating Variations from Existing Manuals

Creating manuals for related or similar tasks

For example, if you have a manual for "assembling" photography equipment, try duplicating it and entering the following:

Reverse the order and create a manual for disassembly

This will create a draft manual with the assembly steps in reverse order.

Not only will the steps be rearranged, but the descriptions will also be rewritten for the disassembly process, changing phrases like "attach the cover" to "remove the cover." With just a few minor adjustments, you can complete a disassembly manual.

This allows you to efficiently expand your manual collection by utilizing existing content.

4. Creating Manuals Easily from Available Images or Notes

Providing all information to the Editing Assistant to organize into manual format

When you have all the materials ready for creating a manual, it's recommended to start with the following approaches:

  • Start by providing all available text

The Editing Assistant excels at processing and structuring large amounts of text. Even when given substantial information, it can organize that information into a manual format. For instance, if you have any of the following, try sending them through the chat first:

    · Quickly written text or miscellaneous notes that haven't been refined
    · Long text like product support pages

  • Upload taken photos to the "Image Assignment" tab and simply provide the manual title

The Editing Assistant automatically analyzes uploaded images.
If you already have photos or screenshots of a series of work procedures, simply tell it the title of the manual you want to create,
and it can develop a manual based on the content of the images.

With minimal information or instructions like "How to perform inspection" or "Cash register closing method," the result tends to be a generic manual without specific elements. Providing as much information as possible from the start leads to smoother creation.
If you provide limited information, use the proposed manual as a base and refine it through chat instructions or direct editing.
