When Trying to Import a PDF Through an Unsupported Method
You cannot import a PDF by clicking "Select File" on an empty step in the manual editing screen or by drag and drop.
Error message: "Invalid file selected. Please confirm that the file type is in line with the below."
Please use one of the following methods to import:
Create a new manual by using "Create Manual from PDF" from the dropdown next to "Create New Manual" on the list screen
You can create a new manual by importing a PDF by clicking the dropdown "▽" next to "Create New Manual" on the list screen, then selecting "Create Manual from PDF".

Add PDF by using "Add Step" > "Add step from files" > "PDF" on the manual editing screen
You can import a PDF into an existing manual by clicking "Add Step" > "Add step from files" > "PDF" on the manual editing screen.

When the PDF Does Not Meet the Requirements
There are the following limitations for PDFs that can be imported:
Total file size: Up to 50MB
Number of pages: Up to 51 pages including the cover
If the PDF you want to import exceeds these limitations, please split or edit the PDF to meet the requirements before importing.
If You Still Cannot Import
If you've checked all of the above but still cannot import the PDF, please contact our support with the following information:
- Your Teachme Biz account information
...Please provide your email address or account name - The date and time when you couldn't import
- Screenshots showing the issue
- The PDF file in question
