About Group Settings

Most settings that affect the entire group can only be viewed and changed by group administrators and group sub-administrators.

Review and consider your company's operational and security policies, and configure the settings before starting to use Teachme Biz whenever possible.

Group Basic Information

Notification Email Language

You can set the display language for various notification emails sent from Teachme Biz to "Japanese," "English," or "Japanese and English (bilingual)."
The setting is applied uniformly across the group and cannot be switched on a per-user basis.

Authentication (SSO / Single Sign-On)

Using the Single Sign-On (SSO) feature eliminates the need to enter a Teachme Biz ID and password when logging in to Teachme Biz.
- A separately contracted groupware or similar service that supports single sign-on integration, such as Salesforce or Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), is required.

If you are unsure whether this can be configured or how to configure it, please check with your company's IT department.

Provisioning

This feature allows you to sync account and group information from Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and similar services to Teachme Biz.
When an account is created, edited, or deleted in Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) or a similar service, those changes are reflected in Teachme Biz accounts and teams.

By eliminating the need to manage information in two places, this significantly reduces the burden of account management.
In addition, automatically deleting accounts helps prevent accounts from being overlooked when employees leave the company, maintaining a higher level of security.

If you are unsure whether this can be configured or how to configure it, please check with your company's IT department.

Templates

This feature allows you to add required input fields to the cover page or steps of a manual.
For example, it is useful when you want to ensure that fields such as "Reference Number" or "Notes" are always filled in for a manual.

It can be toggled on/off per folder, and folder administrators and folder sub-administrators can also configure this setting.

Security

Group IP Restriction / Folder IP Restriction

This feature allows access to a group or folder only when a specific network is used.
Folder IP restriction can also be configured by folder administrators and folder sub-administrators.

Configuration is only possible when a static global IP address is in use.

If you are unsure whether this can be configured or how to configure it, please check with your company's IT department.

QR Code Login

This is a feature for the mobile app.

By scanning the QR code issued for each user with the mobile app, you can easily log in to Teachme Biz without entering a Teachme Biz ID and password.

If you wish to use QR code login without group IP restriction, the access approval management feature described later is required.

Access Approval Management

This feature allows access to be granted on a per-mobile-app basis in environments where IP address restriction or QR code login is in use.

When Using IP Address Restriction

Since the IP addresses used on networks accessed by smartphones and tablets typically change, access restrictions via group IP restriction or folder IP restriction cannot be applied to them.
By using the access approval management feature to register the app's unique identifier ("identification code"), users can still access Teachme Biz in such cases.

When Using QR Code Login

If you wish to use QR code login without group IP restriction, the use of access approval management is required.
