QR code login is a feature that allows you to log in to Teachme Biz by scanning a QR code with the mobile app.
By scanning the QR code issued to each user with the mobile app, you can log in easily.

• iOS: 5.27.0 or later (released 2025/4/7)

• iOS: 1.7.0 or later (released 2025/6/10)
• Android: 1.7.0 or later (released 2025/6/10)

Security Settings Required for QR Code Login

To ensure there are no security concerns with the ease of logging in via QR code, this feature is designed to be used in conjunction with access approval management and group IP restrictions to control the source of access.

Please combine these settings as appropriate for your operations.

If you want to allow QR code login only from specified IP addresses

By using group IP restrictions, you can limit QR code login so that it is only possible from designated locations (networks), such as within the office or at a store.

※ IP address restrictions apply not only to the mobile app, but also to web browsers and mobile browsers.

If you want to allow QR code login only from approved mobile apps

By approving specific mobile apps through access approval management, only approved apps will be able to use QR code login.

When using both group IP restrictions and access approval management

When both group IP restrictions and access approval management are enabled, the following restrictions apply.

When accessing from an allowed IP address

• QR code login is available from both approved and unapproved apps in the access approval management

When accessing from a non-allowed IP address

• QR code login is only available from mobile apps approved in the access approval management

Q. Do issued QR codes have an expiration date?

A. Yes. QR codes have an expiration date and are valid for one year from the date of issue. You can extend the expiration date if needed.

Q. Can all users log in using a QR code?

A. No. QR code login is available to general users only. For security reasons, group administrators and sub-administrators cannot log in using a QR code.

Q. Can I still use traditional login methods (entering login credentials or SSO) even when QR code login is enabled?

A. Yes, you can.
