Purpose of This Feature
In the field, there are situations where simply "reading a manual" can be a challenge.
- Reading text is burdensome — some people prefer to listen while working with their hands rather than reading with their eyes
- Even when translated into their native language, some people find it easier to understand by listening rather than reading
- Their hands are occupied, leaving no room to turn pages
Even in these situations, the read-aloud feature allows users to make effective use of manuals.
Feature Details
Read Aloud
Content is read aloud by an AI voice in the following order: cover → step title → description → custom fields → video subtitles.
If a video is registered on the cover or a step, video playback and subtitle read-aloud will begin simultaneously after the custom fields are read aloud.
If a video has both subtitles and audio, the video's audio will not play while the subtitles are being read aloud.
If you find it disruptive that the video's audio starts playing partway through after the subtitle read-aloud ends, please set the video's audio to mute.

Auto Page Advance While Reading Aloud
After the read-aloud is complete or the video ends, the system automatically moves to the next step.

Supports 26 languages, reading aloud in the language selected on the slideshow screen.

Playback Speed Control
You can set the read-aloud speed in 7 increments ranging from 0.5x to 2x.
The specified speed is saved in the browser and will be used the next time as well.
