Tell me about QR Code Login

QR Code Login is a feature that allows you to log into Teachme Biz by scanning a QR code with the mobile app.
By scanning the QR code issued to each user with the mobile app, you can log in easily.

Security Settings Required for QR Code Login

To ensure there are no security concerns when logging in easily with a QR code, the system is designed to be used in conjunction with Access Approval Management and Group IP Restrictions to control access origins.

Please use them in combination as appropriate for your operational needs.

If you want to allow QR Code Login only from a specified IP address

By using Group IP Restrictions, you can restrict QR Code Login so that it is only possible from a designated location (network), such as within the office or a store.

※ IP address restrictions apply not only to the mobile app but also to web browsers and mobile browsers.

If you want to allow QR Code Login only from approved mobile apps

By approving a specific mobile app in Access Approval Management, only the approved app will be able to use QR Code Login.
If QR Code Login is attempted from an unapproved mobile app, an approval request will be sent to the administrator.
Once the administrator approves it, the user will be able to log in using the QR code.

When using Group IP Restrictions and Access Approval Management together

When both Group IP Restrictions and Access Approval Management are used, the following restrictions apply.

When accessing from an allowed IP address

• QR Code Login is available from both approved and unapproved apps in Access Approval Management

When accessing from a non-allowed IP address

• QR Code Login is available only from mobile apps approved in Access Approval Management

FAQ

Q. Do issued QR codes have an expiration date?

A. Yes. QR codes have an Expiration Date and can be used for one year from the date of issue. You can extend the expiration date as needed.

Q. Can all users log in using a QR code?

A. No. Only general users can log in using a QR code. For security reasons, Group administrators and Sub-administrators cannot log in with a QR code.

Q. Even when using QR Code Login, can I still use the conventional Login method (entering Login information or SSO)?

A. Yes, you can.
