Points of Caution with Updates after October 2025
To prevent subtitle display issues in customer environments, gradual feature updates are being implemented. As a result, both new and old style subtitles may appear overlapped.
What does "Old style and new style subtitles display doubly" mean?
New style subtitles are layered over the old style.
Therefore, as long as the subtitles are displayed as per the original text, viewing is not expected to be affected.
When displayed doubly
When "CC" is clicked and not overlapped
However, the following occurs due to operations on new style subtitles.
When subtitle position is changed to top
Changing the subtitle position to the top results in subtitles being displayed both above and below.
When translating subtitles
Translating subtitles or displaying two languages causes the before and after translation subtitles to overlap, making it hard to see.
However, by adjusting the position of the translated subtitles to the top or by setting sub-subtitles to "original text," the visibility issue can be resolved.
