In Teachme Biz, notifications are sent through the mobile device's notification function or within the app's "Updates" when specific actions are performed.
Notifications displayed as banners or pop-ups
- When a Manual in a Folder is published
(Only when the person who published it selected "Notify about publication") - When a Task is received
- When a message is sent in response to a Task that was distributed
- When a message is sent in response to a Task that was received
- When a Task deadline is approaching or has passed
However, if notifications are turned OFF in the device settings, banners, push notifications, badges, and other indicators may not be displayed.

Notifications displayed only in the in-app "Updates"
In the following cases, banner or pop-up notifications are not sent, but notifications are displayed in "Updates" within the Teachme Biz app.
* Notifications are displayed in "Updates" for 1 month on both iOS and Android.
- When a Group Admin is changed
(Only if the Group Admin is the new or previous Group Admin, or a Group Sub-Admin) - When a Group Sub-Admin is changed
(Only if the Group Sub-Admin is the new Group Sub-Admin, the removed Group Sub-Admin, or the Group Admin) - When a Folder Admin is changed
(Only if the Folder Admin is the new or previous Folder Admin) - When a Folder Sub-Admin is changed
(Only if the Folder Sub-Admin is the new Folder Sub-Admin, the removed Folder Sub-Admin, or the Folder Admin) - When the Owner of a Manual is changed
(Only if the Owner is the new Owner of the Manual) - When a Comment is posted on a Manual owned
- When another person comments on a Manual where a Comment was posted
- When a Manual owned receives a "Good Job"

When a banner notification is sent, the same content is displayed in "Updates" within the Teachme Biz app, and the total number of unread items in "Updates" and incomplete Tasks is added to the badge number.
