Overview of the Release Outside feature

This feature is useful when you want to share a Manual with someone who does not have a Teachme Biz account, such as when creating instructional materials for customers.

Manuals published in a "Folder released outside" can be viewed without logging in.
To allow external users to view a Manual, share the Manual's URL (or QR code), or the URL for release configured for each Folder released outside.
You can set access restrictions on Folders released outside using a Password or Referrer URL.
Access by external users is subject to a monthly Views limit that varies by plan.

Restrictions

The URL used for release starts with "https://teachme.jp/" and cannot be changed.
When not logged in, Advanced search is not available.
IP address restrictions for Folders released outside are only available on specific plans. ※No longer accepting new subscriptions

How to get started

Create a Folder released outside

Please create a Folder with the Folder type set to "Folder released outside."
※An existing "Internal folder" cannot be changed to a "Folder released outside."

Configure the Folder released outside

Review and update the settings of the created Folder.

Save a Manual to the Folder released outside

Save the Manual you want to Release Outside to the created Folder and publish it.

Create a new Manual

The process for creating a Manual is the same as for an Internal Manual.

Obtain the URL for the Folder or Manual

Obtain the URL to access the Folder released outside or the Manual released outside.

URL for a Folder released outside

There is a separate URL for users who are not logged in, in addition to the URL for logged-in users.

Confirm that content is publicly released externally

In a browser where you are logged into Teachme Biz, you cannot check the release under the same conditions as an external user.
Please create a situation where you are not logged into Teachme Biz and then check.

Check by logging out of Teachme Biz

Log Out of Teachme Biz in your Browser
If there are any other Browser tabs accessing Teachme Biz, close all of them
Access the URL for release and confirm whether you can view the Folder released outside and the Manual released outside

Check using incognito mode

Launch your Browser in incognito mode
Access the URL for release and confirm whether you can view the Folder released outside and the Manual released outside

If you were unable to view the Manual externally
