What to do if you're not receiving notifications

Notifications from Teachme Biz usually arrive within seconds to minutes after an action is performed. If you are not receiving notifications normally, please check the following based on the type of notification:

Email notifications not arriving

"Update Information" notifications not arriving in the mobile app

Possible causes include:

  • Issues with the communication status or startup status of the mobile device (smartphone or tablet)
  • Congestion on our servers, Apple's notification servers, etc. due to high processing volume

In such cases, the notifications may arrive after refreshing the "Update Information" screen※.

  • Teachme Biz notification settings are turned off

Some notifications can be turned on/off in the Teachme Biz settings. If notifications are turned off and not arriving, you can turn them on by referring to the following manuals to receive notifications going forward.
The notification items that can be changed are as follows:

- Comment posting
 (Notification to the manual owner when a comment is posted, and to the user who previously commented when another user comments on a manual)
- Good Job evaluation
 (Notification to the manual owner when a Good Job is given)

Push notifications not arriving on mobile devices

Possible causes include:

  • Not logged in to the mobile app when the notification occurred
  • Push notification settings on the mobile device are turned off
  • Issues with the communication status or startup status of the mobile device
  • Settings that turn off notifications, such as "Do Not Disturb" mode
  • Congestion on our servers, notification services, Apple's notification servers, etc. due to high processing volume

In such cases, the notifications may arrive after refreshing the "Update Information" screen※.

  • Account name or email address of the user not receiving notifications
  • Type of notification not arriving [email, "Update Information" in the mobile app, mobile device notification]
  • Content of the expected notification
  • Date and time when the notification was expected to be sent
  • If notifications other than email are not arriving, whether email notifications are being received
