When you post a Comment, it will appear in the Manual, and notifications will be sent to the relevant parties via e-mail and the app.
Displaying Comments
Comments will appear on the cover or Step of the Manual where the Comment was posted.
In the mobile app, you can check the number of Comments on the Manual list screen.
※The total number of Comments on the Manual and its Steps is displayed.
The Owner of the Manual where a Comment was posted will be notified by e-mail.
※Normally, if another user posts a Comment on a Manual that you have previously commented on, you would also be notified by e-mail, but this feature is currently unavailable.
Notifications in the In-App "Information on Updates"
The Owner of the Manual where a Comment was posted will be notified via the "Information on Updates" section in the mobile app.
Additionally, if another user posts a Comment on a Manual that you have previously commented on, you will also be notified.
Notes
- Comments are not displayed in the Manual editing screen.
- If you post a Comment on a Manual of which you are the Owner, E-mail notifications and in-app "Information on Updates" notifications will not be sent.
- Notifications will not be sent to users who have not registered an E-Mail Address or who have opted out of receiving various notifications.
- Posted Comments are not included in the Export Items of the Manual list export. However, the number of Comments is included in the export.
