What are Folder Administrator and Folder Sub-administrator?

Folder Administrator and Folder Sub-administrator are the persons responsible for a Folder, configured on a per-Folder basis.

  • Folder Administrator: The person responsible for a given Folder. Only one person can be assigned per Folder.
  • Folder Sub-administrator: A role that assists the Folder Administrator. Multiple people can be assigned to a single Folder. They have almost the same permissions as the Folder Administrator.

Folder Administrators and Folder Sub-administrators cannot create new Folders.
Their role is strictly to manage the contents of the Folder they have been entrusted with.

Why Set Up a Folder Administrator / Folder Sub-administrator?

In the early stages when starting small, it is fine for a Group administrator or Group sub-administrator to take on this role concurrently.
However, as the number of Folders grows, the burden will increase accordingly.

Once you reach the stage of expanding your Folders, proactively delegate the management of each Folder to someone else.
