Teachme Biz automatically converts uploaded videos to "mp4" and images to "jpg" format to ensure playback and display compatibility across various devices.
Therefore, if the original uploaded file has a different extension (such as MOV) or contains a special color data format (color settings), the image may become washed out or darkened during the file format conversion process.
To prevent color changes, please try the following measures.
When recording new footage
You can prevent color changes during conversion by adjusting settings in advance.
iOS devices
- Change the save format: Go to "Settings" > "Camera" > "Formats" and select "Most Compatible"
- Turn off HDR: Go to "Settings" > "Camera" > "Record Video" and turn off "HDR Video"
Android devices
- Change the save format: In the camera settings, change the save format from options such as "High Efficiency Video (HEVC)" to the standard "mp4" or "H.264"
- Turn off HDR: In the camera settings, turn off the video recording feature for "HDR (HDR10+, etc.)"
- Menu names may vary depending on the device model.
When using already recorded data
- Please use a PC editing application or conversion tool to convert videos to "mp4" and images to "jpg" format in advance before uploading to Teachme Biz.
