The translation engine for auto-translation can be set to either Google or AI.
Google Translate is selected by default.
To select AI translation, you must have the AI features turned ON.

Features of Google Translate

  • Translation dictionary feature is available
You can use the translation dictionary feature to control translation results for proper nouns such as product names and company-specific terminology.
Register and edit translation dictionary (Web Browser)
  • Translation results are displayed faster compared to AI translation

Features of AI Translation

  • AI translation tends to provide higher translation accuracy than Google Translate
Improved accuracy can be expected especially for languages other than English
  • Generating translation results takes longer than with Google Translate
If a cache remains from a previous viewing of the same manual, results will be displayed immediately

Features and Apps Not Supported by AI Translation

There are currently some areas where AI translation is not yet supported.

  • My Courses in Training
My Courses information will use Google Translate even if AI translation is configured.
AI translation will be applied to manuals accessed from the course manual list.
  • Teachme Biz mobile app and Teachme Player versions that do not support AI translation
On the app versions listed below, Google Translate will be displayed even if AI translation is selected.
Please update the app to use AI translation.

Teachme Biz mobile app: versions earlier than ver.6.8.0
Teachme Player: versions earlier than ver.1.8.8

Please note that even when using a version that supports AI translation, "supported by Google" will still be displayed as per the current specification. (Improvement planned)
