Yes.
Sub-folders and manuals linked to the source folder can also be moved together.

Who can operate

  • Users with folder administrator or sub-administrator privileges for both the source and destination folders
  • Group administrators and sub-administrators who are members of both the source and destination folders

Moves that cannot be performed

The following moves cannot be performed.

  • Moving sub-folders to become parent folders (first tier)
  • Moves that would result in folder hierarchy exceeding 5 tiers
  • Moving when the total number of manuals in the source folder exceeds 500
    *This includes draft manuals
  • Moving initial folders (first tier)
    * Sub-folders directly under initial folders can be moved
  • Moving parent folders (first tier) that contain manuals added to draft, distributing, or archived tasks
    * Sub-folders directly under them can be moved
Even if tasks are included from the second tier onward, moves other than parent folders are possible.
    * Parent folders can also be moved by deleting the tasks themselves

When approval workflow is set for the source folder

This operation can also move folders with approval workflow settings.
If approval workflow is in progress for the source folder, it will be reset.
Please submit approval workflow requests again or perform publication and update operations in the destination folder.

When approval workflow is set for the destination folder

While individual manual folder moves result in drafts, folder moves do not change the publication status of manuals.

Notes

  • Manual viewing and editing privileges are set for each folder.
Please be careful about the privilege settings of the destination folder.

  • The destination folder URL differs from the source folder URL.

  • Moving folders and sub-folders takes time.
Until the move is completed, folders with the same name will be displayed at both the destination and source.
After the move is completed, refresh the screen and the folder will be displayed only at the destination.

  • If the move fails, an email notification will be sent to the operator.
Folders with the same name will remain at both the destination and source, and some manuals will remain at the source.
Please manually move the manuals that remained at the source to the folder with the same name at the destination, then delete the source folder.
