The Template Feature is a function that allows you to set custom fields that are required for entry on the cover page or Steps of a Manual.
Editors can call up the optimal Template that suits the purpose and type of Manual they want to create.

Limits Within the Feature
Template Creation Limit
- Up to 50
※Templates in Archive are not included
Custom Field Setting Limit per Template
- Cover page: Up to 10 fields
- Step: Up to 5 fields
Character Limit Within Custom Fields
- Up to 100 double-byte characters (200 single-byte characters) per custom field
How to Use
Turning the Template Feature ON/OFF
The Template Feature can be toggled ON/OFF per Folder.
When turned ON, it is applied to the specified Folder and all Sub-folders beneath it.

You can create a Template that combines custom fields required for entry on the cover page or Steps of a Manual.

Types of Templates
Templates can be created in the following 3 patterns.
- Set custom fields on the cover page only
- Set custom fields on Steps only
- Set custom fields on both the cover page and Steps
Notes
The following operations are not supported. Please review carefully before releasing a Template.
- Editing custom fields while the Template is Currently released
- Returning a Template that has been applied to a Manual even once back to Draft status

Applying a Template
Created Templates can be applied not only when creating a new Manual, but also to already created Manuals at a later time.

Notes
- Templates cannot be used in Folders where the Template Feature is set to OFF.
- All Templates released within the Group are available for use.
- Entry into custom fields is required. You cannot release a Manual with custom fields left blank.
