2025-06-25 08:28:17 UTC 2026-09-08 02:24:58 UTC

Thank you for your continued use of Teachme Biz.
We would like to inform you about the discontinuation of the Windows desktop app.

Overview

What is the Windows Desktop App

This is a Windows-only app that provides only the manual creation and editing features.

Rather than the web browser version used with Chrome or Edge, if an app called "Teachme Biz" is installed on your PC, that is the Windows desktop app.

Background of the Discontinuation

As of March 2021, development of new features for the Windows desktop app was discontinued, and we have since been recommending the use of the web browser version.

While many of our customers had already been using the web browser version, we released a new capture feature on April 14, 2025,
and as the web browser version alone is now able to provide sufficient editing functionality, we have discontinued the Windows desktop app.

Schedule

  • Target: Windows desktop app
  • End date: February 13, 2026
  • Recommended migration deadline: Please migrate to the web browser version by the end of December 2025
