This article explains the effects when there are changes to a manual owner.
Common Notes
Only the manual owner can perform the following operations (except administrators):
- Change the manual owner
- Delete the manual
- Archive or unarchive the manual
- Delete manual backups
Before changing the owner of a manual, please check the following:
Pre-confirmation
- Check that the new owner is participating in the manual's folder as an "Editor".
- Check that the previous owner is participating in the manual's folder with the intended permissions.
Without "Viewer" permissions, they cannot view the manual, and without "Editor" permissions, they cannot edit the manual.

When changing the folder permissions of the manual owner

The manual will not be deleted.
Manual ownership
The manual owner will not be changed automatically.
Please note the following:
- If the owner does not have "viewing privileges" or "editing privileges" for the folder, they cannot view the manual.
- If the owner does not have "editing privileges" for the folder, they cannot edit or delete the manual.
When changing the account information (display name, password, etc.) of the manual owner

The manual will not be deleted.
Manual ownership

When deleting the manual owner's account

Manual ownership
The ownership of manuals owned by the deleted user will be transferred to the user specified at the time of deletion or the folder administrator of the folder where the manual is stored.
