How to Publish Manuals

There are various ways to publish manuals.
Choose the most appropriate publishing method based on the content, purpose, and your company's internal security policies.

We will introduce publishing methods in order, from basic to advanced.

Viewable by logging in to Teachme Biz (Internal Publishing)

This is the most basic publishing method.
By publishing a manual within an "internal publishing folder," the manual can be viewed by anyone who meets the following conditions.

  • Logged in to Teachme Biz
  • A member of the relevant folder

If there are no particular internal requirements and you are unsure, use this method to publish your manual.

For enhanced security

Viewable only when using a specific network (IP Restriction)

This method allows viewing only when accessed from a specific IP address, such as your company's network.
This helps prevent manuals from being viewed even if login credentials are leaked.

■ Group IP Restriction

Login is only permitted when accessing from a designated IP address.
※ Group administrators and group sub-administrators are exempt from this restriction.

Example: When you want to prevent access from unauthorized environments such as home or personal devices

■ Folder IP Restriction

Manuals within a folder can only be viewed when logged in from a designated IP address.

Example: When you want to prevent access to highly confidential folders, such as accounting or HR-related folders, from unauthorized environments such as home or personal devices

Viewable only from a specific mobile app (Access Approval Management)

In environments using Group IP Restriction, Folder IP Restriction, or QR code login, manuals can only be viewed from a mobile app that has been registered with the app's unique identifier, the "identification code."

Single Sign-On

This method allows you to log in without entering a Teachme Biz ID/password if you are already logged in to an IdP such as Google.
It can be used alongside standard ID and password login, or configured so that login is only possible via single sign-on.

Restricting login to single sign-on only can enhance security.

Viewable by anyone, even without logging in (External Publishing)

This method is mainly used for publishing content to external audiences.
By publishing a manual within an "external publishing folder," the manual can be viewed by anyone who meets the following conditions.

  • Knows the URL of the manual or folder
