When the error message "Could not find target step." appears, the step has possibly been deleted.
Possible causes and solutions
When old display data remains in cache
The step deletion may not be properly reflected due to old information (cache) temporarily saved in the browser.
The following steps can resolve the issue:
- Delete temporary data in the browser.
[Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Delete] keys will clear the following items:
・Google Chrome: "Cached images and files"
・Microsoft Edge: "Cached data and files" - Reload the manual editing screen
- Check if the target step appears
When another user deleted the step
Another user may have opened the manual editing screen at the same time and deleted the step.
The page should be reloaded.
After reloading, edits by other users can be confirmed from the last editor field at the bottom of the manual editing screen.
