Specification changes for the manual create tab in mobile app | Released on September 18, 2024 – Help Center | Teachme Biz

As stated in the title, we have made changes to the specifications of the manual create tab in the mobile app.

Overview

※ To create a manual, you must have edit permissions for the relevant folder.

Mobile app

Tapping the create tab displays the select folder screen for creating a manual.
A red badge is displayed on the create tab if there's a discrepancy in manual data between the server and the device.
When tapping the create tab with the red badge displayed, you can choose between "CREATE MANUAL" or "SYNC DRAFTS".

Tapping the create tab displays a list of "Edited on this device".
Manuals previously edited on the currently logged-in device can be re-edited by selecting from the "Edited on this device" list.
Tapping "Create Manual" displays the select folder screen for creating a manual.

If there's a discrepancy in manual data between the server and the device, a message "Unsynced manuals exist" is displayed below "Edited on this device".
Tapping "Unsynced manuals exist" displays a list of unsynced manuals, allowing you to select which manuals to sync.

"Edited on this device" only displays manuals previously edited on the currently logged-in device.
To view manuals created on other devices, please search for the manual as usual.
The "Edited on this device" display will be cleared if you log out or are forcibly logged out due to device restrictions.
Even if the manual display is cleared within "Edited on this device", the manual itself is not deleted. To view the relevant manual, please search for it as usual.

	Question	Answer
1	Will the old version of the Teachme Biz app become unusable when the renewed version is released?	You can continue to use versions of the Teachme Biz app from before the renewed version. However, to reflect future feature improvements and bug fixes in the app, you will need to update the app.
2	I'm currently using the Teachme Biz app. Do I need to install a new app to reflect the changes?	You don't need to install a new app. Simply updating your current app will reflect the changes.
3	Can I revert to a previous version after updating?	Once you update, it's not possible to revert to a previous version.
4	Will the app be (automatically) forcibly updated?	Teachme Biz will not forcibly update the app. Please update as usual on your own. ※ Please note that if you have set your device to automatically update the Teachme Biz app, the app will be updated automatically as usual.
