Prior to the user specification change on July 1, 2023, we released a compatible mobile app on June 13, 2023.
Mobile app users should prepare to update their mobile apps to use the latest version of the apps on July 1.

Overview

  • "Member" and "Guest" will be merged into "General User" on July 1, 2023.
  • The privilege to create or edit manuals will be determined by how you join the folder.
  • We released the compatible mobile app in June 13,2023.
  • Please use the appropriate version of the app after July 1, 2023 so that the app can correctly determine whether the user can create a new manual or not.

Detail

The mobile app is designed to display the "Create" tab only for those who can create manuals.
After merging "Member" and "Guest" into "General User", we will release a compatible version of the app so that only those who can create manuals will be able to see the "Create" tab.

If you do not use the compatible version of the app from July 1st onwards, the following problems will occur.

  • Sometimes, the "Create" tab will not be displayed to users with the permission to create manuals
    *This will only occur to the users with "Guest" status as of June 30th and get the permission to edit the manual from July 1st onwards.
  • Sometimes, the "Create" tab will be displayed to users with no permission to create manuals
    *This will only occur to the users with "Member" status as of June 30th and lose their privilege to edit the manual from July 1st onwards.
    *They can create manuals on the app, but cannot save drafts on the server or publish them.

What should I do?

We have released a compatible mobile app on June 13, 2023.
Please update your app as soon as possible.
If you centrally manage the application version in your company, please cooperate with the relevant department in your company.

I will not be able to update to a compatible version of the application in time for 1 July. What should I do? Please use the web browser until the mobile app update is completed.
*If there is no change to editing or viewing privileges, there is no problem even if you use the old version of the app (before the supported version).

When the compatible mobile app is released, will the application be updated automatically?

Teachme Biz won't force you to update your app. Please update yourself as usual.

*If you have set the Teachme Biz app to update automatically in your device settings, the app will be automatically updated.
